Backup failure in iphone 3gs.

Hi,
I have iphone 3gs which is 3 months old. It works very well. To keep all my important data in my computer, last night I tried to backup my iphone. But I unable to take backup, it repeatedly shows backup failure. I tried various things but it didn't work out. Can any one help me.

It seems that you have used wrong procedure to backup your iphone. Actually Your itunes application regularly take backup of your iphone when you connect your iphone for synchronize. You can use following steps to take backup.

1.Synchronize your iphone with iTunes. Now your all installed application like game, video, songs, photo will saved by iTunes in your computer.

2.To take manual backup right-click on the iPhone icon -> there you can find backup option -> just click on it -> now your backup process will automatically start.

You can find your backup data at:\Documents and Settings\(abc)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

As per your information it seems that you have using old or corrupted version of itunes. In this case you have to install new version of iTunes. First remove your old iTunes version. Now download new version of itunes from apple store for free. Install it properly.Connect your iphone and now try to take backup your iphone. If you still unable to take backup of your iphone then you have to contact apple store regarding this issue.
