| Booting problem of HP Pavilion ZN5000 laptop
I have a HP Pavilion laptop. The model which i am using is HP Pavilion ZN5000. I was increasing the RAM of the laptop from 2GB to 4GB but after inserting the RAM in the Memory slot the laptop was not Booting. I have three times removed and inserted it in the laptop but the same result. This is the DDR3 SDRAM which i am using with the laptop. What can be the reason for this? |

This problem is starting after increasing the RAM of your laptop from 2GB to 4GB. You had remove the previous RAM and inserted the new RAM so check the RAM once again. It may be possible that the RAM is not properly fixed in the RAM slot on the MOTHERBOARD. Remove and Reinstall the RAM again in the slot after cleaning the RAM and the slot properly. This will Fix the problem and your laptop will start now. |

If this problem does not get solved by removing and reinstalling the RAM then check the compatibility of the RAM you are inserting in the RAM slot of your laptop. Do not insert any RAM which is not compatible with your HP Pavilion ZN5000 laptop. Because this can damage the RAM slot of your laptop. It is also possible that the RAM which you are using is not working or damaged. Check it with some other laptops of the same category of HP. If it is not proper then do not use it and change it. |

| Re: Booting problem of HP Pavilion ZN5000 laptop
If the RAM is working properly with other laptops and and it is compatible/supported by your HP Pavilion ZN5000 laptop then it is now clear that the RAM slot of your laptop is not working. It is damaged by you in the RAM inserting procedure or by some other reasons because it was working properly before inserting the new RAM. Please take your laptop to HP service Center or to any local laptop repairing center very soon. They will identify the correct problem of your laptop and they will solve the problem. |
