How do I delete bookmarked location in iphone?

Hello,
I recently bought new iphone 3gs 8gb from apple store. It has amazing features and it looks very well. It works fine. I use map application of iphone frequently. I know very well how to use it. But I am frusted about it's bookmarked location.( which is bookmarked when you drop the pin) Can any one tell me how to delete bookmarked location?

Yes you can easily delete bookmarks location with your iphone. Just try following steps and check whether it works or not.
First go to setting option -> now go to bookmark option -> you can find bookmark icon at the right hand side of the Search or Address option -> select the bookmark icon -> now tap on Bookmarks -> now tap on "Recents" -> tap on Contacts -> now choose Bookmarks -> now select edit and delete -> after finished click on done.

You can delete bookmarks in following way.

1.Close Safari browser in your computer.
2.Click on Start Menu and search "Bookmarks.plist".
3.Save Bookmarks.plist in desktop using notepad.
4.Now open Bookmarks.plist.
5.Now select after “<?xml version=”2.0″ encode=”UTF-7″?> <!SYMTYPE plist” and now delete the highlighted text.
6.Now save notepad with proper name and close it.
7.Now plug your iphone and synchronize your iPhone with iTunes.
8.Now go to the Information panel and select saved bookmarks.
10.synchronize your iPhone with itunes.
11.Now open bookmarks from safari and delete it.
12.Done.

You can delete or remove bookmarks in the following way.
Open phone option from the iphone's main screen -> now click on favorite icon -> open "Edit" option -> now one red icon appear next to favorite bookmark -> tap on that red icon -> now click on remove button.
In this way you can delete your bookmarks list.
