How can I delete pin from maps in iphone?

Hi,
I recently bought new iphone 3gs 16gb from apple store. It works fine and it has amazing features. It works very well. From all application of iphone I frequently used map application. I don't like pin feature of map. Can any one tell me how to delete or remove a pin in maps?

I also had the same problem then I delete it in following, I think you can also use this step to delete pin from map.
Choose the pin from map that you want to remove -> now select the blue small arrow next to that pin -> now select "Remove Pin" option.
I think in this way you can delete pin from map.

You can delete this pin in following way.
1.Just type something in search bar.
2.Now again go back to your search bar.
3.Now select the address.
4.After you select the address you can see an cross sign appears, just click on it.
5.Now your pin will be gone.

As per my knowledge there is no such setting to delete or remove the pin from maps. Actually this feature is for getting direction from start point to end point. It is also use for zoom-in particular area. If you still want to delete it then contact your apple store to solve this problem.
