Ipod Error : An unknown error has occurred (-69)

Hi,

When trying to update ipod 30gb gives this error message "The iPod can not be updated. There was an unknown error (69)". From this moment I can not put any files with itunes and consistently gives this error message. I have recorded mode files using drag and drop files without problems but with itunes nothing. I installed an earlier version and feel the same way. The only possibility is refurbished in the ipod and re-install the files. I've completed the test with itunes and ipod and that brings me no error whatsoever. I went to the service and says it is due to a corrupt file, but each time it crashes with a different file.

The error -69 means it has found an error while file was copying. You might even mistake or there really be a problem for iTunes to read it. Update your Windows with all critical updates from Windows Update. Restore your iPod and try to see if they are always the same files. Also try disabling the antivirus and other programs during synchronization.

If you have any USB peripherals connected to your computer I recommend that you disconnect before synchronizing. Also, try connecting your iPod to another USB port. In addition, I recommend that if possible try if your iPod syncs with iTunes on another computer.

To resolve the error, an unknown error occurred (-69), this should be done by upgrading the latest BIOS and clear the CMOS settings with the jumper near the power LED (you need to disconnect power to do this) Then make sure Do not have anything that in PCI slot 4, and shares the same IRQ - some devices like to share, others does not.
