Security code for nokia 6300

I have brought a new Nokia 6300 handset and while going through the functions i have changed the security code of that and now i am not able to recollect the code. Can anyone tell me how to get the security code for nokia 6300 or how to reset the older code?

12345 is the default security code for all Nokia handsets. The only option available with you is to take the phone to a Nokia Care center along with the documents and bill. They will reset it completely by master clear method and they will again set the code back to the default code 12345.

You can just format your handset or this is the way through which you can return your security code back to the default one. Then switch off your mobile and then press *3 and and the dial key and switch on your mobile. Just check it out now, whether your code has been set to default or not.

You can get the security code back and set it to default by any of the following method.

Full Reset: This will clear everything from the phone memory, don't forget to take a back up of your contacts: Just dial the code *#7370#, 12345 and then Yes.
Soft Reset: For soft reset just dial *#7780#, 12345 and then Yes.
