Cannot record or listen my own voice from the Iball Microphone

I have purchased an I ball Rocky headphone. I am facing a problem that I am unable to listen my own voice also not able to record it. I have a doubt that my Microphone is not working properly. But i have purchased it few days back. I have no clue what to do. Sometimes i think it is due to some software problem. Kindly give me a solution for this as soon as possible. Thanking you.

The problem might be that your microphone is not working properly. I would kindly suggest you to take your headphone to the shop from where you have purchased it. As you have purchased it few days back you would get it exchanged. Check out the plugs. There might be a possibility that you might might not have connected it properly.

Well there is a possibility that you might not have installed your drivers for output devices. Go to Start> Control panel> Add new hardware. There you would get a list of hardware peripherals attached to your computer. Select your headphones device name n click on install driver. It will automatically check out for the required driver form the system file and update it.

The problem might be due to your hardware fault or your drivers is not installed properly. Check out the port if its connected. The plugs should be connected to your motherboard. If it is not done so you might get such problems. Test your microphone by going to Start> Control panel> Sound devices. Test your microphone. If its disabled your microphone is not working. Check out for the solutions given.
