Asus laptop Freeze with Windows Vista and Windows 7

I have this problem .. but still can not understand what the problem is.

suddenly while using the computer normally computer stops suddenly, making it impossible for any operation.The problem began to appear about 4 or 5 months after the date of purchase and the problem occurs on both Windows Vista and Windows 7.My laptop is ASUS X59SL.I have vista and windows 7 dual boot.
Where is the problem?

Make sure that problem is not due to overheating of the processor? Try cleaning the cooling section that is not bad idea you can clean with compressed air, disassemble the heatsink and blows hard and check then.

That's as I suspected,the power supply is not providing the right power supply to the components of the laptop. Since this charger asus is a bit a mess for many reasons . You should try another. The other hypothesis, the most serious is that there is some problem in the motherboard

Check for hard drive bad sectors ,such problem normally due to hard disk bad sectored .when you try to access such part of hard disk windows wont able to read and stuck there results laptop Freeze .You can try Hdd regenrater to find and recover bad sectors else better to claim your warranty.
