Sony ericsson w580i screen stopped working

My sony ericsson w580i screen stopped working after installing new theme. My screen has gone blank, it wont let me see anything, i can receive call and hear voice clearly but unable to get display.

Try leaving the battery of your Sony Ericsson W580i and sim card out for longer for 30 mintues. Then put the sim card and battery back in your phone. Turn it on and see if it your phone returns to normal. You may also notice that some buttons are not responding under the screen, this again is caused by the ribbon wearing.

Extreme heat of the battery can damage cell-phone display. The problem causing the "white screen" and/or "preview error" is because of the flexi cable inside the joint of the phone.

The above descriptions may seem like they all simply need the LCD Display Screen replaced, but the problem could be caused by other things or you might of left it out in the sun, or dropped it in water, find out of you still have warranty.
