IPod Shuffle won't work

I have a Apple iPod Shuffle 1GB, it won't work normally after charging it to more than 4 hours. When i press stop or play button while playing music it blinks green then orange 5 times.

Everything you need to learn to use and troubleshoot your iPod shuffle. To solve the problem Hold down the top of the trackwheel and the center button at the same time for 10 to 12 sec and let it reboot.

1. Eject your iPod shuffle from iTunes, if connected.
2. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPod shuffle's headphone port.
3. Move the switch on the top of the iPod shuffle to the off position.
4. Wait 5 seconds.
5. Move the switch to the "play in order" or "shuffle" position. The green stripe will be visible in either position. iPod shuffle is now reset. If after resetting iPod shuffle you are going to attach it to your computer, be sure place the switch in the off position.

This iPod Shuffle problems is related to firmware, Click on the Start option > Choose All Programs next >Choose “iPod” it will only visible if you have install software > a windows will appear when you select ipod icon > then you should select ‘iPod Updater” >Next, click on “iPod Updater” again when another menu appears> click on that menu >The iPod upgrader will automatically upgrade the software in your iPod device.
