Problem with Nokia 5130 handset

I'm using Nokia 5130 handset. I had installed Windows Xp on my machine. I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0 as my web browser. The problem is that when i try to connect my Nokia 5130 handset through a usb cable, a message appears on my mobile screen stating that there is no response from the computer. Can any body tell me that why im facing such problem on Nokia 5130 handset? Does any body knows about it? Kindly help me out with the above problem. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

First of all you need to make sure that you had installed PC SUIT 7.1 version on your machine. For downloading the latest PC SUIT, you need to check out the following link. After installing pc suite on you pc, you need to go to your phone function, need to select connectivity and then need to select Packet Data connection . After that you need to select all time online and then connect it to pc using usb cable.

I think you need to update your firmware to the latest one on your Nokia 5130 handset. It seems to be that the version you are using is not compatible with your phone or might had been corrupted. For that you need to reinstall the software in order to get rid of the above issue.

They might be able to help you out, in order to resolve your above issue. They will let you know whether it is your handset problem or you are facing another problem.
