To run photoshop & illustrator on Netbook

    Hi.

I have a question for you here. Its about my netbook.
    I have Samsung NC20 - Nano U2250 1.3 GHz 1 Gb 160 Gb. It's what I am planning to buy.

I want to ask you guys if I can be able to run software's like Photoshop & illustrator on this netbook with an upgradation of 2 gb ram?

    Thanks in advance.

Well I think you can run those softwares on that notepad but I wont do that.
    1. Small screen size.

If you are going to work on it then trust me you are going to find it annoying due to small size & the time it takes to do a photo.

I would suggest you to look at better options available in market with better configuration or laptops with same price or bit more. You will get a nice option with more power, good processor, hard drive & ram.

This is my opinion at your problem.

One of the heavier tasks that most wouldn’t think about trying on a netbook is image editing. They are often touted for their web surfing capability and not much Just look at the system requirements of the program and make sure you have enough disk space to install it, enough RAM to run it, and you have an appropriately set virtual memory setting, again with enough disk space.

I have Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS3 all installed on my Wind and yes--it can handle them. Is it speedy? No, not really.. but for a quick edit or to open and view a file on the road it's perfectly adequate. I've played around with one not long ago, and really liked the keyboard compared to some asus netbooks i've looked at, but the touchpad is so so.
