OfficeJet 6210 odd error

I have a customer who having problems with their HP officejet 6210 all in one printer. The printer reports the following error:"Error:0x07a74dd61959:lib_barracu" on it's display even after a hard and soft reset.also,the ink inside the print no longer moves around (slides on it's carriages) when the cover is lifted. It is not moving.

Any ideas?

I have this same issue several various application programs, and two different muli-function devices Officejet 7210 and Color Laserjet 8240. Uninstalling and re-insalling the software does not solve the issue nor does anything in three pages of instructions sent by HP.There is a BUG in the HP Scan 4.5 software and no one seems to be interested in fixing it.

I guess You might have already attempt this - Disconnect the power and USB cables, then see if you can remove the the ink cartridges, put them back, then plug the cables back in. (In searching the HP web site, I found that with the "Barracuda" error you require to call HP support.

Here's how I solved the matter. I went through my entire computer system - we are talking all the drives, all the folders, all of explorer each stuff and anywhere that I found anything related to HP - removed it from the system - not just the add and remove. When this was all done, system rebooted and cleaned up - I ran the CD anew. It worked out for me - after that everything worked properly and it has ever since. This was very time consuming but it solved the problems. I was so happy to have it finally work.
