IPhone os 3.1 unable to Sync with Exchange Server 2007

There is the problem with MS Exchange support on IPhone 3.1 .When i am trying to use a Microsoft Exchange account on my iPhone the error message stop me to go further now problem is getting back to the old OS is not possible so is there any other option available ?

A number of users of iPhone 3G reported problems of syncing with Exchange 2007 after upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1. Indeed one key encryption hardware is necessary for proper synchronization of the device and only the iPhone 3GS the latter. Is this the way for Apple to sell more 3GS? For now the only way to remedy this is to not update your iPhone 3G 3.1 or ask your network administrator to remove the encryption of the exchange server, something that will certainly not possible.

Under iPhone OS 3.0 the iPhone was not identified correctly, which means that if the Exchange server required a hardware encryption an iPhone without encryption hardware could connect to the server. With iPhone 3.1, this behavior has been corrected or only the iPhone 3GS supports hardware encryption and can connect to Exchange servers that demand. For owners of iPhone EDGE or 3G need to go through the system administrators and ensure they please disable encryption hardware requirement for EDGE and 3G iPhone.
