Garmin for nokia 5800

Hello,

I have recently bought a new Garmin for nokia 5800. I tried to install Garmin XT, but when I run the application on the mobile, everything freeze. Does anyone managed to install Garmin on nokia 5800? Garmin Mobile is compatible with the operating system Symbian S60 V5 in general then why its creating problem with my phone, do you have another program to recommend me.

Garmin Mobile XT application is designed for use on Symbian smartphone devices running S60(ie. Nokia E6x, Nokia N7x) 3rd Edition OS . During installation, you will be prompted to turn on your Garmin GPS. Please Note: You will not gain access to Garmin Online features and/or the navigation will be unavailable without connecting your Garmin GPS. A minimum card size of 256 MB is recommended for Garmin Mobile XT software with maps. Please save all appropriate data before beginning the update.

Here is the step to install garmin on nokia 5800. just choose to Mass Transfer mode. After extracting all files in own folder, just follow these steps.

• Install Garmin Mobile XT 5.10.20 in your memory card
• Install Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap in your memory card.
• Install Garmin Mobile XT Support Files in your memory card.
• After all installation complete, write down your IMEI number in IMEI converter & you'll get GARMIN UNIT ID, copy the unit ID to Garmin Keygen 1.5 & you'll get software unlock code.
• Copy the unlock code into notepad & save as SW.UL, make sure to change the extension from .TXT to .UNL
• Copy SW.UNL file to garmin folder.
• Copy the map (gmapsupp.img) also in garmin folder.
