Nokia N97 restarts when i connect to wifi

Hi

Last month i purchased Nokia N97 from nokia gallery. It's nice touch screen phone made by nokia but from last 2 days i am facing problem with wifi. whenever i switch on wifi phone restarts. Can you tell me what should i do ?

I also have the wifi problem with Nokia N97. yesterday i access ineternet on my nokia n97 through the wifi in my home. But after 30 min automatically wifi stop working i don't know what happen. Then i switch off and switch on the phone then it started working. Can anyone know what is the problem ?

When you will stop accessing data then phone will not remain connected to the network. This is to save on battery consumption. Whenever application requires network, it will connect but once the app releases the connection, the N97 will disconnect from the network. This is latest phone launched by nokia with new features.

I am using Nokia N97 mobile phone. It's realy nice phone made by nokia. Specialy for surfing on internet. I surf daily 1 hrs on internet on Nokia N97 using wifi connection but still i never face any issue. I think there will be some issue in your mobile phone.

It's the "POWER SAVING MODE" by the wifi software that has a glitch! Disable it and you'll be surfing the web like a true PC.



menu > settings > connectivity > WLAN > settings > options > advanced settings..... then disable the stupid "power saving mode"
