IPOD shuffle not working on Windows 7

I am having a big issue on my IPOD shuffle 2GB , i am not able to sync any thing from my computer to my ipod is Itunes compatible to 64 bit windows 7 . when i try run itune is freezes and it need to reboot to solve the issue .

iTunes 8.2 x64 in combination with Windows 7 x64 and the iPod Shuffle. You will only have to follow the described steps a SINGLE time .

First you need to Disconnect your iPod Shuffle from the PC and do the CTRL-ALT-DEL from their task manager -> Processes -> End ITunesHelper.exe . now reconnect your ipod , iTunes should NOT start by itself and you should be able to see your Shuffle within the list of your drives . now you need to download SharePod after that start the Sharepod.exe. the Sharepod will recognize your iPod Shuffle

You need to open the itune and enable disc use.(This will prevent itunes from automatically disconnecting your ipod in x64 ) When you make a change on the ipod in 32 bit it will work and sync and whatnot in the x64.
