Acer aspire one wireless connection

Hey guys, i need the urgent help here, i can't make my new Acer Aspire One to connect to my wireless internet. It find the network but it doesn't connect to it. And even after trying for several times there is no connection available. I have a Linksys wireless router.

Which Linksys wireless router? always provide the full info so it becomes easy to help you , first try to open the router configuration utility and unblock your machine address and your ip address and most important turn the wireless on it might be turned off .

Here are some basic steps to setting up wireless connection:

1. First switch on the wireless LAN using the switch on the front on the right of your Aspire one.
2. Click the icon on your system tray and choose the wireless access point you want to connect to. Download the User guide and setup guide from this Link.

If you are sure you didn't changed the password on the wifi router and it stopped working itself try restoring the system to the date it was working fine, but little caution all the settings/ programs installed after the restore date will be lost . Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts. choose the date ie. bold and on which it was working fine and follow instructions.
