Canon G10 vs Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3

i want to buy new camera for me i am armature photographer so please kindly help me to choose camera for me i have selected Canon G10 and Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 which one should i get for me ? please reply

Canon is good for this series of camera .In my view the presence of the viewfinder for g10 is a plus point. The LX3 is lacking for the sake of miniaturization, and forces the photographer to rely solely on the display for more details you can check here Canon PowerShot G10

different between Size is not much between these two. Both are about 11cm long and 4.5cm thick. G10 is about 2cm higher. G10 is good to carried in a belt pouch, but not really portable and cant carry in pocket where LX3 is good for street shootings more portable.The LX3 has a wide angle and the G10 will zoom further.

24-60mm f/2-2.8 for one, 28-140mm f/2.8-4.5 for each other. Beautiful screens 3 "400 and some thousand pixels both, sensor virtually identical in size 1/1.63" 1/1.7 to gun cons.
