Go under Installer and click the "Uninstall" Icon. The Installer App is under it and just delete it like that or go to /private/var/mobile/Applications , Look in each folder and try to find X-Ray Scanner, just delete the folder that X-Ray Scanner is in.

Locate the app you want to delete, hold finger on an app you put on there yourself for about 2 seconds, an x appears.Tap the X next to the icon of the app you want to remove. When prompted, select Delete. In this mode you can configure and move your apps in different order.

You must have not selected the applications properly and hence that's what i am saying here. if you have selected the applications the X sign will do appear and hence you will be able to delete the application. So go ahead and work on the suggestions that i have given here. Do try it again and let me know if the problem does gets solved. Hope it works for you.

It's not hard to select the app until the x appears so I believe when they say it doesn't appear. You misread the question. That is a fix for apps that you downloaded not on the ones that are already installed when you buy the iPod.
