Issue with Compaq Presario v3000

I am having Compaq Presario v3000 laptop with me and everything was working fine few days ago but today bu today when i try to Turn on it was not Turn ON but when after few attempts i was able to start my laptop and was checking out my emails and sudden my laptop got Turn off and then after whenever i am trying to start it turns on only for few minutes only. Can anyone tell me what would be the issue with Compaq Presario v3000 laptop ?

It might happen that your battery would be very low because of which your laptop would get Turn Off or the battery might had gone bad because you may face this issue. In that case i would suggest you to remove your battery and try to use it direct power Power supply and if it's working fine then your battery has gone bad and you need to replace it.

I have try to do that to remove my battery and give direct power supply to it but still facing same issue and at the same time i thought that there would be some virus issue because of which i am facing such kind of issue so i reinstall the operating system but during installation my laptop got turn off. Does any one know any other solution apart from this ?

I think there is some issue with your motherboard or some resistor or capacitor might had got damage because of which after some time your laptop gets turn off and at the same time check your RAM too it is over heated if then this would also be one reason.
