Palm weight watcher software

WeightWatchers.com mobile weight-loss application that syncs with a Web-based account via the Internet. WeightWatchers subscribers have access to a set of interactive weight-loss tools for their Palm OS based handheld devices. This program will allow you to enter your favorite foods, assign them to a category, indicate the serving size for a portion, and then enter the "value" of the food. For a calorie counter, the "value" is calories, for a carb counter, the "value" is carbs, for a weight watcher, the value is "points", and so forth.

There are several search options available to assist you in quickly finding what you are looking for before you take a bite of that favorite food. You may filter on the food category and/or type in the partial name of the food you are looking for and/or search on the food value. All three searches in combination create a very powerful filtering tool to aid you when your FoodFavs database grows large.

Currently weight watcher do not support devices running Palm OS 5.4.8 or higher (e.g., Palm Z22) and older devices that run Palm OS 3.1 or lower. However, many newer devices (e.g., LifeDrive, TX and Treo series, the newest Tungsten E2 and T5) can be used wirelessly. If you're having trouble finding your device: for Handspring, check under Treo; for Palm.

Starting from main "home" page on your handheld device, tap the "Menu" icon (see the highlighted area in the screen shot below) on the lower left-hand side of handheld screen (next to the Graffiti area). If your handheld does not have a "Menu" icon, starting from the main "home" page, click the time display in the upper left-hand corner.

• The "App" menu will now drop down from the top of the screen. Select "Info" from this menu.
• When the "Info" screen is displayed, select "Version"
  
• Your handheld's Palm OS version number should now be displayed at the top of the screen, i.e. "Palm OS software v. 4.1.2". The numbers following the "v" indicate your operating system version.
  
• Tap the "Done" button to close the "Info" screen.

Minimum Memory (RAM): 7MB (7168k) required to install this software but 16MB or greater (16384k) recommended. If you have not have enough memory you can delete files from RAM.

• The "App" menu will now drop down from the top of the screen. Select "Delete"
• When the "Delete" screen is displayed, choose the file you wish to delete by tapping on the file name and then selecting the "Delete" button at the bottom of the screen. Note that 1024K equals 1M. Files will be gone permanently when deleted.
• Repeat step 3 for each file you want to delete.
• Tap the "Done" button to close the "Delete" screen.

Note: If you don't want to delete any files, just click "Done".
