Verizon wireless phone with Skype

Hi,

I a have Verizon mobile phone and i want to use skype on my mobile phone. i have Samsung i760 omnia and i have installed skype application on my phone but dont know how to use it. i also have Verizon/ HTC XV6700. can i use skype on this mobile.

I am using verizon HTC XV6700. and i have installed skype on my phone and i can make calls using skype but the problem is Sometimes the voice quality is not great if the service level is low. But the texting is always perfect voice sometimes. so it is better if you avoid using skype on your phone.

For your information Skype is supported in your samsung omnia mobile phone but it will not gonna give you excellent voice clarity which you get on your pc. so it is better to use verizon's voice calling services instead of using skype's free calling services. I thinks its just Verizon’s way of locking us out of useful capabilities, you dont get any trouble using skype with AT&T and Sprint.
