Buying unlocked iphone

As you all know when we buy an iPhone, Apple ties up the iPhone 3G to a local telecom provider. Also the true price of a cell phone is obfuscated by carriers by tying it to two-year contracts. But i don't want such iphone. I wanted to buy a unlocked iphone that i can use with any operator.. Where can i get such unlocked iphone ? Please help.

They are offering 8GB for $5400 ($692 USD), and 16GB iphone ( for $6200 ($794 USD). If you are in US it is really easy to get if you succeed to expensive to live AT & T mobile contract that all iPhones currently connected to its official. If you don 't know already, all Apple iPhones closed only to AT & T networks.
