Htc mogul tweak

Hi,

I have sprint htc mogul, and i need to speed up my phone by doing some changes in registry. Htc Mogul is the updated version by HTC for the PPC-6700. can i use PPC-6700 registry hack on htc mogul ? PPC-6700 was based on windows mobile 5 and the new Mogul is based on Windows Mobil 6. please post Post registry and software hacks so that i can make my htc mogul much faster.

Here's how you can Unlock your HTC mogul.

Unlock HTC Mogul :

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 2
  Change the value data from 2 to 1
  
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 16
  Change the value data from 16 to 40
  
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001017 = 128 -> Change the value data from 128 to 144
  
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies\Policies
  Add new value “0000101b”: Dword = 1
  
• Close registry editor and soft reboot.

Today screen, Single line date :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY]
“Date”=dword:1
“AutoSingleLineDatePlugin”=dword:1

Change Operator name :

HKLM\System\State\Phone\Current Operator Name

Remove SMS Send message :

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox

• create a new key “Settings”
• create a new string value “SMSNoSentMsg” and set the value to 1
• Hit ok and select “Ok” to save and you are in business.

Internet Explorer Navigation On HTC Mogul

To change this behaviour so that the button scrolls the page left, right, up and down, use the following tweak:

• \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\4-Way Nav = 0 (DWORD decimal)
• And to re-enable hyperlink/form field navigation:
• \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\4-Way Nav = 1 (DWORD decimal)

NB: You may still jump between links using Tab and Shift-Tab if your device has a built-in hardware keyboard.

Disable Menu Animation

• Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu, then change the value of "AniType" from 6 (default) to 0.
• This disables the menu animation which helps in speeding up your PocketPC.
