Iphone - Upper Dead Strip problem

Hello,

My problem is that the bottom of my iphone does not work. Nothing in the lower part (4 shortcut icons, space bars, etc. ) Does not work. I have read some posts that you should adjust the sensitivity. But how? And when i view files inside iphone its almost empty. Theres no records as application, var... these things. If someone can help me with the Upper Dead Strip ?

I had the same question, but the dead strip lies in the lower part of my 1 gen iphone. I have not tried increasing the sensitivity but I have should have tried it. Or only bring to apple and I hope that they will exchange it. Of course restore it to its original. They can also send you a box for free shipping to them if you are no-where near an Apple Store. Good Luck, it's still under warranty, unless it's jailbreak or unlocked.

Solution for Dead Strip is very simple, Try the steps below :

First, Download General.plist file from the below attachment.

Update your firmware to 2.2.1, use QuickPwn to unlock iphone 3G & iPod touch 1 Gen.

Execute Cydia, browse to find open SSH
Install OpenSSH
Disable the functionality of intermediary iphone
Download iphone Tunnel Following 2.7 or win scp -
Connect your phone the office of windows.
Alpine is password to iphone desktop
Browse on the path /Applications/Preferences.app/
Find & Do a copy of the the General.plst, just in case…
Drag and Drop the download general.plist (of the zip) in this dossier, which replaces the one already exists.
Reboot iphone and then on Settings>general you will see a new point - Touch
Reduce the value of 0 (more sensitive)
