T-mobile dash hard reset

Hi friends,

I have T-Mobile Dash (HTC 620) and it gets stuck when i open any third party application on my phone. default function works well. i tried soft reset but it just store the original phone settings on my t-mobile dash. so i have decided to do hard reset My T-Mobile Dash but i dont know how to do it. I really hope someone can help me on this.

There is no need to do hard reset on your phone. lot of people facing the similar problem to open a third party application on T-mobile dash. If you will perform hard reset you will lost all you data, so Before attempting this procedure make sure to backup your data using ActiveSync. otherwise all unsaved data will be lost.

Instead of doing hard reset you can try this, go to Start>>> Accessories>>> Clear Storage>>>Type in 1234>>> Select Yes. After that do a soft reset on your T-mobile dash and restart the phone and try to open any third party application it wili open quickly just like your phones default application.

TO HARD RESET THE DASH 3G:

1. Remove the battery from the device to power the Dash 3G off.
2. Reinsert the battery, DO NOT power back on.
3. Press and hold the Volume Up button.
4. While continuing to hold Volume Up, press and hold the (red) Power/End button.
5. A multi-color screen (boot loader) will appear, continue to hold both keys.
6. The reset screen will appear (a grey screen with blue text).
7. Press Send to reset, then Send again when prompted to reboot the phone.
8. The device will reset and boot to the home screen.
