How to recover samsung forgotten password

Hi,

My problem is, I have set password on my samsung D600, it says that's wrong.... Is there a way to reset the phone to the factory password of 00000000. Also tried entering his puk but again nothing, just says wrong password. Can anyone suggest anything to get the phone unlock code / password please? How to recover samsung forgotten password ???

To recover samsung password if forgotten, attempt to perform a master reset and restore the device to original factory specifications. If you locked your SIM card and need a PUK code, this link may help:

1. Turn the phone off
2. Take out the sim card
3. Tturn the phone back on
4. Enter *2767*2878#
5. The phone will turn off and then on.

PIN check

Use this menu to change your phone password. The password is preset to 00000000.

Privacy

Use this menu to lock your media contents, including MMS messages, emails, images, videos, music files and sounds:
1. Press [OK/i] to check the item(s) to lock.
2. Press Save to lock the marked items.
3. Enter the phone password and press OK.
To access a locked item, you need to enter the phone password.

I dont think there is any way to recover any password for mobile phones rather than a hard reset. Even hard reset may stuck in between because of the security password, as it is require to continue the reset. The only way i can suggest is firmware upgrade. It resets all passwords store on the mobile and also gets some new features and improvements on your device. So go for Firmware Update

Hi saiful, If your mobile is still under warranty, than better take to the service center for the update. They will not charge you anything. If it is out of warranty, than download Samsung PC Studio and install it on your PC. Make sure your mobile has enough battery charged. Connect your mobile with the PC Studio. There will be an Option for Software update. Click on the same and follow the procedure. Thats it.

Have you locked the samsung GT-E1151 with some password and now you can remember it, if so then you will have to take it to the customer care of the carrier to which the phone was originally locked and talk to a technician. Other than that you can try flashing the phone but you will loose all data so backup your phone first.

You can reset your phone passwords by reset/firmware update but if you forgot your SIM passwords the only way is to get it from your Service Provider. Rather than this there is no other way. Just call up network provider and ask them for the passwords (PUK if you have tried inserting wrong passwords multiple times.)

I was in same trouble before! I've used the Samsung M150 and forgot its password also I have face the Bluetooth problems as well but when I read this post it works for me! hope it will also work for you as well!
