How to Control Playback Speed of Iphone

Hi,

I need to have control over playback speed on iphone. Can you slow down and speed up playback of audio. If so, it should be included as part of the software upgrade. This would be very useful!

If you want to use the speed control feature that is available in ALL ipods and the iphone, it only works for audiobooks and hang in there for a while. Trying it out though 2x on 3.0 doesn't seem quite as fast as 2x was on 2.2.1. Maybe they changed it and it's now really 1.5x, but labeled 2x. Select one of your podcasts in iTunes and use the FIle -> Get Info command to check the media kind in the "Options" tab.

Could it be that I need to delete them all then re-import them now that I have a different software version? I suppose I can try downloading a different podcast from a completely different source. Neither the people in the Apple Store or Mac Speech Customer/Tech Suppport knew the answer to this question. You can simultaneously change the playback speed using AUVarispeed

The Mac Speach requires a USB pretty high level headphone or microphone recognition for voice transfer to text i.e more high tech headphones and only certain hand free micro phones, like Mac Mice etc. You can't control video podcast playback speed, only audio podcast . The new iPhone update left out the audio speed adjust ! I’m stuck on fast and can not make it normal.
