I have download RC30 Mod v1.2 Firmware for Google Android G1 Mobile Phone, and it has some test keys in it, and recovery image.do i need to put the whole zip file on the sdcard also ?

The only thing you need from the download RC30 Mod v1.2 Firmware, there is the recovery_test keys.img, but you need to change the name to recovery.img, and thats the file that goes to your sd card.
