Sprint htc touch diamond battery life

Hi,

I have HTC Touch diamond with sprint carrier and i am facing a lot of issue with the battery. I can hardly talk on phone for 3 hours. I have original HTC product with a capacity of 1350 mAh. Even when on standby it drains very fast, how long should the diamond last on a single charge. I am not using any application like bluetooth or gps or wifi.

You can buy a 1800 mAh battery on ebay. the original HTC touch diamond battery is just 900mha, and this one is double so will definitely get more talktime like 7 to 8 hrs. I suggest you to activate all energy saving tips through the program "Advance Configuration" and if you don't use/need UMTS & GPRS.

You can try to unlock your phone and install a new ROM. This will double the battery life and will mane your phone faster. also Turn off the Beam setting, Turn off Error reporting, Turn off WiFi when not in use. Those three drain the battery when in use and will stay in use 24/7 unless you disable them.
