Can I use T-Mobile service with an unlocked PALM CENTRO

Hi,

I have been looking for a new phone and really like the Palm Centro, but I don't want to cancel my contract and switch to another co i:e T-mobile, just for the phone. If I use an unlocked Palm centro, how would this affect my plan? 0r can I use T-Mobile service with an unlocked PALM CENTRO ???

First you would need to ensure that the Palm centro was unlocked to be able to use a t-mobile sim card. It shouldn't effect your plan. If you ask tmobile they won't know because they don't carry Palm centro, but if you call the customer care of palm centro co, they will tell you.

To use T-Mobile service with an unlocked PALM CENTRO, you need put the unlocking code in the t-mobile SIM card :

1. Put the T-mobile SIM card in the moble
2. Enter the folowing: *#*#code#
3. Press the 'Send' button
4. Wait for phone to get signal

if this does't work, then the simply solution was to simply do a hard reset. To do this Remove the battery, then insert it again. When Palm logo appears, press and hold power button until status bar at bottom of screen fills and disappears. Release power button and wait for screen to appear asking to erase all data. Press 'up' to confirm Hard Reset.
