How to turn on activesync manually on HTC touch pro

    Hello everyone,

I am facing problem in using active sync with my HTC Touch pro. Active sync starts up on its own on the phone what do I need to do to turn that off til I need to use it for example with my computer ? I am very curious what the reason can be. Is there a certain setting I accidentally activated? How to turn it off.

Please can anyone help me out?

You can turn on active sync manually on HTC touch pro. you can set it to sleep, the power cuts off activesync will disconnect. Or you can also use ASKicker and ASyncKiller, its an application which runs in the background, and you have the option of having it check every Ten seconds, Twenty seconds , or Thirty seconds.

Use ActiveSync Toggle. ActiveSync allows you to either load or unload ActiveSync from memory whilst also removing the registry key that automatically loads it upon starting Windows. Toggle was designed so that the ActiveSync process could not only be removed from memory (therefore freeing up memory) but also from the System Tray (therefore freeing up clutter). We feel that allowing ActiveSync Toggle to run from the System Tray would only defeat it's purpose.
