DVD Burning with a Dell Dimension 3000

Hi. Need help to know if I can burn a video to a DVD using my Dell Dimension 3000. I have burned CD's with music but I am having trouble burning a video dvd. Thank you!

Install nero dvd burner with nero you can easily create video dvd with a Dell Dimension 3000

no. nero won't work with the animoto (create your own videos). i have tried a couple burning programs but they don't seem to be working. i wondered if my computer won't burn dvd's just cd's.

I hope you are doing it this way: In nero go to multimedia section while at the top DVD is selected. Create Video and then add files and it will encode your videos into dvd format...

From dell site what I can see is only - 48x CD-RW Combo Optical Drive
Not a DVD-RW So please check out if you have a DVD combo drive or DVD-rw drive.
If you are not at all allowed to write DVDs then you must be having a combo drive.
Please go to My Computer - Device manager.

Thank you!!! This is the information I needed to know. I am not very computer-knowledgeable. I did not know where to go to find out. I looked where you told me and it says CD-RW Drive. So I am guessing this means I can't burn DVD's, just CD's. I would need to get something else?
