I am not much experienced with the specifications & configurations of the laptop & the manufacturers.
I want you guys to help me out in purchasing a laptop for me in my budget.

My friend told me about this configuration for Rs. 40,000 Please have a look and comment.

Acer is a brand, everyone knows, but i would suggest you try some models from Dell. They would be costly but Dell is worth spending money on. Its service is excellent. If you familar with working on Mac computers i would suggest you go for Mac Book. Mac has excellent animation and graphics softwares, far better then that works on windows. You must visit Lamington Road atleast to get the right quotes and compare prices as you are in Mumbai.

Fujitsu is Japanese and Japan is pretty good in tech. I would get a Dell or Fujitsu. It depends on what you're using it for. I have a DELL Inspiron E1705 with a 2ghz Core 2 Duo, and a Nvidia Go graphics card, 2 gigs of ram. For a Laptop... I think it runs Maya just fine..Macs have always been configured to take the most advantage of presentation graphics. An entry level dedicated card will do the job just fine.
