The LG 600g is notable among TracFones not only due to its unique appearance, but also for how feature rich the device is in comparison to competitor TracFones. Tracfone has offered two new phones with some groovy new features: the Motorola w376g and the LG 600g. Both phones offer Bluetooth and VGA cameras, a first for Tracfone. A bit of a warning: Bluetooth on the Moto phone is crippled, in that it can only connect to Bluetooth headsets. The LG, on the other hand, can connect to most any other Bluetooth device, including desktop PCs, so you can use your computer to shuffle pics and ringtones back and forth instead of SMSing them to yourself. The phone dimensions are 99 x 45 x 13.7 mm, making the 600g standard in size when compared to other similarly styled flip phones. The device weighs in at a scant 90 grams. This phone also comes up with a VGA (640×480) camera. It has no flash, and doesn’t work so well in low light, so you’ll get those traditional “shaky cam” pictures in a lot of instances. At the same time users will be able to make use of a self-timer as well as options for adjusting brightness and white balance. Users will find the 600g's camera keys on the side of the device. LG 600g comes loaded with many features typically absent in competitor devices. Of the many new features, the one that has users most excited is the Bluetooth connectivity. There is third-party software out there that you can mount the phone as a device in Windows Explorer which you could do it simply by drag and drop files to and from the phone that way. Unfortunately, they haven’t found that software yet so in this case i would prefer user to use Windows Vista’s built in “send-receive” file manager for sending files.
