It all starts with GSM quad-band capabilities and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Once you add Bluetooth Wireless Technology, Wi-Fi, a 2.0 megapixel camera, an optical mouse and a host of other fun and functional features, you have a real world beater. The handset also has a GSM chip and a SIM slot for use outside the United States. It comes pre-installed with a SIM card, so customers who plan to travel abroad can activate global service at the time of purchase or by calling Verizon Wireless prior to leaving the U.S. For those who travel abroad frequently, the company's Global Value Plan offers discounted roaming charges on calls made to and from 130 countries.
