Micro sd wont work in phone

I purchase Nokia N82 with 1 gb memory card (Free with phone) . Nokia N82 supports upto 8 gb sd card. So yesterday I purchase 4 GB SD card in that I downloaded some songs and movie and inserted in phone but that wont work in phone.

Nokia N82 can support micro SDHC cards. Card which you purchased is either faulty, a cheap clone or Just format the card in your phone. If it fails return it. Have you try another card in your phone ?

Yes, 1 gb Micro sd card works perfectly in phone only 4 gb SD card which i purchased yesterday is not work in my phone.

If your memory card is new then replace it don't format the memory card. I also faced same issue my 4 gb SD card for samsung star and copied all my favorite songs. But when i inserted card into mobile phone it won't work in my phone. so i replace it. The shop keeper give me new card that working nicely. So don't try anything just go and replace it.
