Dell XPS 420 or Dell Precision T7400

Hello
I have a plan to upgrade my computer and am zeroed up on two products both are from Dell.and i would like to let you know i use the computer basically for for CAD drawings 3D visualization as my job related to this field .the are models Dell - XPS 420 and Precision T7400. I know both of them have a better graphics environment. but am really confused to take a final decision so decide to post here so what you guys think?

Overall Dell XPS 420 is excelled, all things considered and playing games and also have good graphics support

I know XPS uses desktop based cpu, Intel Core 2 Duo/ Core 2 Quad and it can support a single physical processor.in the same time it use fast DDR2 but in graphic card,some features are absence which found on a workstation class graphic card.so i think XPS420 would be a better selection because of the better graphics card.

Xeon got's a larger cache, 12MB vs 6MB on the Core 2 Quad.
If you go with a Q9450 then you also get 12MB
the precision comes along with Intel Xeon 5000 series and can be use up to 2 physical processors along with workstation/servercpu with slower ECC FB-DIMMs,which can optimizes sustained transfer rate in hard drives instead of standard SATA found on home use desktops.
workstation class graphic cards enhances the professional work like CAD, 3DsMax and so on.
