Apple iphone 3g error 1002

Hi,

I am facing a weird issue with apple iphone, yesterday downloaded Itunes 8 and it almost completes the restore process. However, when it is "restoring firmware" it comes up with error 1002. i cant go to apple store because i have jailbroken so apple will charge me high, anyone knows What does this error 1002 mean ?

To solve that Update to the latest version of iTunes

To see if you have the latest version of iTunes, open iTunes and:

• Windows: Choose Help > Check for Updates
• Mac: Choose iTunes > Check for Updates

What was your previous version of Itune ?. if it is the old filmware you can try to hit "update" when connect to itunes Or, you can try to downgrade your itunes and do a quick USB Device Firmware Upgrade then restore your phone using old itunes. Last but not the least, try to restore using difference computer. some how this may help.
