Verizon hub phone Turn your home into a virtual communications center with the Verizon Hub. Communicate with your family and manage day-to-day activities, all from one convenient device. The Hub is a landline slayer launched in a wireless world, where the landline is almost dead. It's a Verizon Wireless VoIP phone coming about at a time when AT&T is killing their VoIP service entirely. It's the phone we imagined before the iPhone, tethered to our home broadband connection for instant-pizza-ordering awesomeness. In other words, it's a lot of interesting things, appearing in the wrong place and at the wrong time. This is a fixed station connected to the Internet through a DSL-connection, and provides access to various online services company yes, we know that all of the weather resources and accounting for traffic jams on the roads already sitting in our liver, but these are the most popular of the daily information needs modern mega city residents. The station has an attractive (in the style of Windows Vista) design and make an inventory of contacts made, missed and made calls, and also contains a calendar. The most interesting of the services, in our view, is to view trailers of new movies with the possibility of online booking of tickets. The keyboard is annoying to type on, but it'll get better in the next software update, which adjusts the spacing and adds pop-up letters. |
