World's first Samsung SCH-W760 with infrared camera

Samsung has launched SCH-W760 phone which has one remarkable feature. In the mobile industry it is the first ever phone with an infrared camera that allows users to take photo or hold video conference calls in dark environments.The system uses an old technology, infrared, to capture your black and white video transmission in the absence of visible light.

Samsung SCH-W760 has powerful camera with 3 Mega Pixel.The camera is sensitive to infrared spectrum which means you can use it even in dark environments.Spec wise the Samsung SCH-W760 is a 3G slider with that 3 megapixel night vision camera, 2.8 inch AMOLED display at 240 x 400 resolution.

The handset will also support S-DMB local TV programming and Bluetooth wireless technology.It also up to 7.2Mbps on 3G networks, Bluetooth enabled, has built-in 8MB of internal memory and supports microSD memory card.Just like other Korean traditional phone, the SCH-W760 also has a built-in S-DMB receiver.

With Samsung SCH-W760, calls in dark rooms will definitely be possible which is gonna be one of the great features.The othere specification which i found is 2.8-inch WQVGA AMOLED screen, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, S-DMB, 3MP camera with flash, Infrared Video Telephony (IRVT), microSD slot up to 8GB storage, music player and a talk time of around 4 hours and 360 hours of standby time.The SCH-W760 is available in the Korea market for the price equivalent to $457.
