How to move icons on iphone

Hi,

How do you arrange icons on iphone screen? I downloaded the gmail application on my i phone. but the gmail icon is not appearing where i want it to appear. I want to put all my iPhone icons in the proper order without really unlocking my phone or jailbreaking it.but dont know how to do it. please help

If you want to arrange icons on iphone screen then On the Home screen, tap and hold your finger on any of the icons until they start to wiggle. Now you can rearrange the icons by dragging them anywhere you want on the screen. When finished, be sure to press the Home button to save.
