ipod touch screen not working

Hi,

I have apple ipod touch, everything is working fine, i can play videos, music and many other things. but since last few days i am facing problem with the touch screen. few days back i tried to clean it because it was looking dirty but the dirt was not coming out so i scratched it. now i dont know what to do. can i replace it ?

why dot you take your ipod touch to apple store, if your ipod touch is under warranty then they will replace the touch screen. if its not under warranty then Try resetting the ipod by holding the standby button and home button together for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't work put it into recovery mode.

If your ipod is not under warranty then it will cost you more then 120$. Yes 120$. I also had the same problem I took mine to the genius bar at the apple store and they replaced it. after that i bought Buy the apple ipod touch anti glare screen protector.
