    How to remove toshiba satellite keyboard

    Hi friends,

    I am having Toshiba Satellite laptop with me yesterday i was working late night and by mistake a cup of coffee fell on my keyboard and i guess there would be some issues or it might happen that there would be some water because of which i am not able to use some of the keys. I think if i can remove the keyboard and might be able to fix this issue.

    It's very simple you can if you want to do it then you can do it by yourself but be careful , there would be one remove able trim strip make sure you remove it very carefully and by paying attention. Once you have removed that just lift the keyword and thats it. Normally keyboard connects to the laptop with a cable thats goes into a ZIF socket.

    Thank you for providing information i would really appreciate if anyone can tell me what steps i need to follow for removing my Toshiba Satellite keyboard from my laptop because when i contact Toshiba tell told me to follow few steps but was not able to do it in proper way on Phone. Please give me the steps which i need to follow.

    How to remove toshiba satellite keyboard

    To remove Toshiba satellite keyboard you need to follow the below steps:-

    1. Turn the laptop upside down and remove the battery.

    2. Now turn the laptop right side up and insert a thin object under the keyboard securing strip and lift it up, be careful will doing this and then remove the keyboard securing strip.

    3. Then remove three screws securing the keyboard and also remove the metal brace in the top center of the keyboard.

    4. Now turn the keyboard over and place it on the palmrest and then again remove two screws securing the metal plate.

    5. Disconnect the keyboard flat cable on the system board.

    6. Finally remove the keyboard
