How to send picture text messages with my motorola Q

Hello,

I have tried multiple times today to send a picture that I took with the moto Q. to a contact from my phone book and it would not work. after selecting a picture and click on send, then it directs me to text messages and outlook e mail, i select text messages and send it but the other person doesnt receive it. i am using Sprint carrier.

am i doing something wrong ?

If you are unable to send the picture text messages on motorola q then you can select the MMS option when you click on the pictures to send it. If that doesn't help, then do a soft reset on your phone and try again.

You can use outlook to send picture text messages from motorola moto q. Create an Outlook account and go from there. or See if your phone will allow you to create MMS (Multimedia Message) messages. If you can, this may allow you to send pictures. According to the Sprint representatives the moto Q isn't compatible with sending pictures as texts. But they do say you can as emails

For your information Picture texting doesn't work on the motorola Q. If you want to send a pic through your phone, you have to use e-mail. To send picture mail from your windows mobile device you will have to send as an attachment in an email. You will need to set up and email account on your phone. Once you have set up the email account you will then be able to send as an attachment in an email.
