In built camera doesn't connect

Hi
I have a sony vaio laptop,i would have a video chat with my friends normally,but last night on wards i can't connect my camera which is a built in motion eye camera.In reality it automatically turn on but it doesn't connect automatically. but it connects when i half closed my lid.need to stay connected when i open my lid in various angles?

any thoughts guys...thanks for help

Well don't very it is anything looks like serious...may be because of some internal damage to circuit.in fact you mentioned gives connection at various instant,so the camera is working.if you literate in physical parts and confident you can check the internal connections and make circuit works better..

yes it is obviously caused by a loose connection problem with the cable.but since it is laptop and it need more proficiency on handling with the device, it always better to get your laptop to nearest sony service center and resolve the issue... may be you get this service for free cost

I guess your camera have a problem with a broken wire you know there is one or more Ribon cables inside the lid hinge mechanism and this cables empowers you to connect to headers in the base and lid. may be you need to replace those wires to get back the camera to work.request the assistance of authorized person...
