Motorola q Outlook setup

Hey.
I have Motorola moto q and i am facing problem in setting up outlook account. I've always just set up a separate e-mail account to check my Gmail, but the Outlook link is still on my home screen listed as Email. can someone help me with the outlook setup ?

I am using motorola activesync with Microsoft Outlook and it works fine via the USB. But i can not send mail after i disconnect USB. when i try to send mail the Send/Receive button is greyed out. I can create a new email account pointing and it sends and receives email with no issues. The problem is it does not sync with my outlook and I have to delete emails in two places. should i delete my outlook account ? please help me

You can not remove outlook account from your motorola q. Outlook account holds any email that you sync from your PC's outlook that you choose to with active sync. You can use it with exchange server or verizons wireless sync.
