How to delete old text messages on Motorola Q

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any way you can delete multiple text messages at once on Motorola Q. My memory seems to be running very low and i have probably over a thousand received text messages. It is starting to take up to much memory on the phone is there anyway i can delete these messages all at once instead of going through all one by one. Thanks for you help

You can not delete all the messages, what you can do is when you're in text message menu go to your folder and with your inbox highlighted, hit the menu button and then press clear text messages. it will delete all your messages.

Hey i am facing weird problem. after deleting my messages when i turn my phone off and turn it back on they appear back in the folder that is was in before it got deleted.please tell me how do i fix this. i have like probably over 9,000 text messages in my inbox because when i delete them they come back..and it is using up my memory and when my memory gets to low it wont let me send or receive text messages.

I think your phone is infected with virus, i suggest you to do hard reset on your mobile phone. make sure you backup your important data like contacts, notes , reminders.
