Motorola q phone tools 4.0

Hi,
I have motorola phone tools 3.0 which i use for my mobile phone, now motorola has launched a motorola q phone tools 4.0. i was wondering if i could use the 3.0 instead of buying the 4.0 version. i'd like to be able to sync my outlook on my computer with my phone -- grab my contacts, calendar, etc. and there may be a lot to offer with this latest version, so should i buy motorola q phone tools 4.0 ?

For your information it will not gonna work on motorola q, since the Motorola Q uses Windows Mobile software it does not use Motorola Phone Tools to sync with Outlook. It uses Microsoft ActiveSync to sync your contacts and calendar. it is better that you use motorola phone tools 3.0.

I am completely agree with N I C K. in your case what you can do is Export your contacts from the Notes Address Book as a CSV file then import that with Outlook or Outlook Express, in that way you will enable Active Sync to Synchronize all your contacts from Outlook to the Q's.
